Knott’s Berry Farm was updating Camp Snoopy. They added a Convoy, Super Happy Swing and Family Coaster 155.
A big selling point of this particular Family Coaster model was the updated systems. The park had an older kiddie coaster and the Zamperla coaster offered a lot of benefits. The larger seats, booster tire lift hill and magnetic braking system were all upgrades for both riders and the maintenance team.
In addition, Zamperla has significant experience with the Peanuts IP. Therefore, hitting all of the thematic marks for the coaster was no problem at all.
