The Mall of Istanbul was a new development with an amusement park being built from the ground up. The park was looking for several attractions, including a signature broad appeal roller coaster. Our design team worked with them to create a roller coaster experience that went over and around a majority of the attractions at the property along with the unique rock theming found throughout the park.
In addition to designing a fantastic ride our engineers worked with facility planners because of the park’s unique foundation. We had to meet extremely specific loading requirements in order for the building foundation to support the roller coaster, its foundations and accompanying theming.
The resulting experience and layout was a huge success for MOi Park. The coaster quickly became one of the most unique and iconic in the country and is still the most popular ride at the facility.
