Parc Spirou chose Zamperla’s versatile Family Thrill Launch as the anchor for its Naruto-themed area.
Kyûbi Unchained features beautiful trains that highlight the famous manga fox. The area also hosts a Nebulaz, which is equally well-themed and integrated into the layout.
The coaster features two launches. The first accelerates riders out of the station and to the right. The first half of the ride features undulating hills that tell the story of Kyûbi. The second launch accelerates riders over the second half of the ride, which begins with a large airtime hill and heads into a dead-end spike.
After stopping over 30 meters in the air, the train reverses direction and ends the experience backwards. The ride is even more exciting because the vehicles in the last car face backwards for the first two-thirds of the ride and end the experience going forwards.
Parc Spriou loved our system because a majority of riders that visit the park can enjoy the attraction. The minimum rider height of 105 cm (42 in) is fantastic for a thrilling experience like Kyûbi Unchained.
