As part of the broader Qiddiya City development, the park is set to become a new international hub for entertainment, welcoming families and thrill-seekers from the region and beyond.
Within this landmark destination, Zamperla has played a central role, supplying 9 of the park’s 28 attractions: a significant contribution that reinforces Zamperla’s position as a trusted global partner for large-scale, next-generation parks.
Six Flags Qiddiya City has been conceived as more than a theme park. It is a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s vision to diversify its economy, invest in quality of life, and establish world-class leisure destinations capable of attracting millions of visitors annually.
With a carefully curated mix of record-breaking thrill rides and immersive family attractions, the park sets a new benchmark for entertainment in the Middle East, positioning Qiddiya as a must-visit destination on the global theme park map.
Zamperla supplied nine attractions to Six Flags Qiddiya City, delivering a balanced portfolio of family and family-thrill flat rides designed to maximize inclusivity, repeatability, and shared experiences.

A standout among the attractions is Giga Discovery (Gyrospin), which is one of the park’s most iconic landmarks.
Reaching 53 meters (173 feet), Gyrospin is officially the tallest pendulum ride in the world. Featuring nonstop gondola rotation combined with extreme swing heights and forces, it pushes the boundaries of what a flat ride can deliver—both in terms of thrill and visual impact.
Beyond the ride experience, Gyrospin acts as a signature attraction, visible from across the park and emblematic of Six Flags Qiddiya City’s ambition to host world-record experiences.
In addition to ride engineering, a key focus of the project was theming and visual storytelling.
Zamperla’s Art Department worked in close collaboration with the project team to ensure each attraction was not only exciting to ride, but also immersive, visually distinctive, and aligned with the park’s narrative environments.
This integrated approach reflects Zamperla’s belief that modern attractions must engage guests emotionally as well as physically, through design, color, detailing, and storytelling.
Zamperla’s involvement in Six Flags Qiddiya City is further strengthened by its 30-year presence in the Middle East through Zamperla Middle East, which supports customers across the region with local expertise, service, and long-term partnerships.
